40 jaar geleden mocht ik mij gelukkig prijzen dat

40 jaar geleden mocht ik mij gelukkig prijzen dat deze mooie vrouw JA tegen mij zei, en met mij trouwde. 40 jaar later mag ik mij gelukkig prijzen en dankbaar zijn dat zij nog aan mijn zijde staat. Zij heeft mij in deze 40 jaar veel liefde, drie mooie jongens en veel vrijheid bij het uitoefenen van mijn hobby (de Welsh pony) gegeven. Dit laatste heeft veel tijd van mij gevraagd waardoor zij vele uren alleen moest doorbrengen. De meeste vrouwen hadden dit niet gepikt.
Jennie bedankt voor alles in deze 40 jaar.

40 years ago I was lucky that this beautiful woman said YES to me, and married me. 40 years later I can count myself lucky and grateful that she is still by my side. In these 40 years she has given me a lot of love, three beautiful boys and a lot of freedom in practicing my hobby (the Welsh pony). The latter has demanded a lot of time from me, which meant that she had to spend many hours alone. Most women wouldn't have taken this.
Thank you Jennie for everything in these 40 years.
